  1. Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
  2. Line an 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish with aluminum foil.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, stir the chocolate and butter together just until melted.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and set aside to cool to room temperature.
  5. Mix together the eggs, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, espresso, and salt.
  6. Add the cooled chocolate and mix well.
  7. Fold the flour into the batter just until incorporated.
  8. Turn the batter into the baking dish and bake until a tester comes out clean, about 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Place on a wire rack and cool completely before cutting.
  10. NOTE: 1 ounce bittersweet chocolate = 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate + 1 tablespoon sugar. 1 ounce of semi-sweet chocolate may also be used.
