Boca Chik’n patties are the best, if you’re the fake meat loving sort. (I don’t love their faux hamburgers so much.) You can just pop one in the microwave, but that gets me down because it gets a little rubbery. I like them baked in the oven, per package directions. This meal is great because you can use leftover pasta if you have any, and it’s a decent source of protein, and it’s quick, quick, quick!
Just throw your patties in the oven. They take 12-14 minutes at 425°, so I set the timer for 12 minutes.
Meanwhile, either make pasta with some red sauce or heat up leftovers — I had some noodles from another meal, so I just jar-sauced and microwaved them.
When the timer goes off for the patties, spread a little jar sauce on the top of each, then top with cheese if you wish.
Return them to the oven for a final 2 minute warm and melt.
Plate the pasta, then top with the patties. Delish!
