  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the vanilla wafer crumbs in a medium bowl.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and stir to combine.
  4. Divide equally into two 9-inch pie tins.
  5. Press the mixture onto the bottom and up the sides of the pie dishes.
  6. Transfer the dishes to the oven and bake until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Let the crusts cool completely.
  8. In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the cream cheese, peanut butter, and condensed milk.
  9. Mix until smooth.
  10. Add the confectioner's sugar and mix well.
  11. Fold in three cups of Cool Whip.
  12. Pour the mixture into the cooled pie shells.
  13. Decorate the pies as desired with more Cool Whip.
  14. Garnish with chocolate shavings and peanuts.
  15. Freeze until pies are firm.
