  1. Put can of sweetened condensed milk in crockpot and cover with boiling water.
  2. Cover and cook on high about six hours. Make sure it stays covered with water, or it will explode.
  3. Butter a 13x9 inch pan. Line the pan with wax paper, and then butter the wax paper.
  4. Pour one jar of peanuts into the bottom of the pan and smooth or shake into an even layer.
  5. In a medium saucepot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  6. When the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and stir continuously until all of them are melted.
  7. Reduce the heat to low then whisk in the dulce de leche (cooked condensed milk) and the peanut butter.
  8. When the mixture is smooth and thoroughly combined, pour over the peanuts.
  9. Smooth out with a spatula, then sprinkle the other jar of peanuts over the top in an even layer.
  10. Press the peanuts down slightly using your hands, making sure everything sticks to the filling.
  11. Let set four to five hours or overnight until cool and set, then cut into bars.

Not hard, but made dulce de leche the day before (made three cans at once to have some on deck). Yummy! The Chew
