Recipe Notes

March 11, 2014
These involve quite a few steps, with the chopping of dates, etc., and I wouldn’t have planned to make them again, but everyone else really liked them. Maggie was visiting and was a big fan. Not too sweet, and you don’t really get a pronounced date-y or cherry hit from them. Almost coconutty textured from the corn flakes. Recipe ripped from a vintage cookbook.
