Beans with Kielbasa

  1. In a large frying pan, heat oil and cook kielbasa until crispy. Using a slotted spoon, transfer slices to a plate.
  2. Add onion to pan; cook until very soft and golden brown.
  3. Add garlic at end and cook that a little, too.
  4. Add beans (drained and un-drained) and cider and bring to a boil.
  5. Lower to a simmer and cook for a half hour or so to blend flavors.
  6. Add kielbasa, and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Salt and pepper to taste. (I probably didn’t add any.)
  8. Great served over rice!
